Jorge is the Head of Vegetables & Crops at Caney Fork Farms, bringing decades of experience in horticulture, nursery operations, transplant production, and sustainable agriculture. His multifaceted career spans both the U.S. and abroad, with leadership roles at Rocket Farms Herbs and Growers Transplanting Inc., where he managed over 5.5 million square feet of nursery space and pioneered automation systems for greenhouse and field production. Jorge also founded Michael Brothers and Associates, an agricultural consulting firm supporting large-scale operations in the U.S. and Mexico. Throughout his career, he has led transformative shifts from conventional to organic production, driven by a lifelong passion for sustainability and soil health. At Caney Fork Farms, Jorge sees regenerative agriculture as the future of farming—and is proud to lead a team aligned in purpose, working to grow nutrient-dense crops and care for the land with a holistic, systems-based approach.
