Danny is the Agroforestry Manager at Caney Fork Farms, bringing decades of experience in food, farming, and sustainability to the team. He spent 16 years in the restaurant industry—finishing his culinary career as an executive chef—before shifting his focus to food production with the launch of Pomona Hill Farm. Over 12 years, he grew Pomona Hill into a diverse organic operation with fruit trees, market vegetables, livestock, and even bees. Danny has always been driven by a passion for producing nutrient-dense food with minimal environmental impact. Caney Fork Farms stood out to him as a place that shares those values, and now he brings his knowledge of agroforestry and whole-system farming to help steward the land and feed the community.
