Colby is the Harvest & Propagation Lead at Caney Fork Farms, where she brings a lifelong passion for farming to every seed sown and crop harvested. Raised on her family’s small farm, Colby knew from an early age that agriculture was more than just a job—it was her calling. After moving to Carthage and discovering that Caney Fork was just two miles down the road, the timing finally aligned for her to join the team. In addition to her work at the farm, Colby also runs Sowing Simplicity Farmstead, her own operation focused on dairy sheep, pasture-raised meats, eggs, and vegetables. Whether she’s managing propagation schedules or rotational grazing, Colby brings care, skill, and deep-rooted purpose to all she grows.
