Ahmed is the Maintenance Manager at Caney Fork Farms, where he plays a critical role in keeping the farm’s infrastructure running smoothly—from daily operations to big-picture projects like building the farm’s grain cleaning facility. With a background in welding and machining from trade school and a B.S. in Biology from Warren Wilson College, Ahmed brings a rare combination of technical expertise and ecological awareness to his work. While in college, he worked on the farm crew and developed a deep appreciation for regenerative agriculture. At Caney Fork, he’s found the perfect place to combine his mechanical skills with his commitment to sustainable farming. Whether it’s fixing equipment, improving systems, or making sure the wheels don’t fall off (literally), Ahmed is the one who makes sure the farm can keep growing—day in and day out.
